MatchMe – Le Tinder des médias


This one was pitched as “Tinder for News”. The program showed you a headline, and through swiping you decided if you wanted to ignore it or add it onto your reading list, with each swipe improving the tool’s knowledge of your reading habits and thus the suggestions.

This is a concept I’ve come across before here on Medium. While that article’s a few years old by now, much of what was said in it was executed in MatchMe, and I will simply link my own comment on that article to describe my opinion on the concept:
